Do german shepherds shed alot?? what if i brush them everyday?

Yes they do. Not as much in the winter and in the spring they go nuts with the shedding. I can brush mine four times a day in the spring and still do it more. Right now tho the shedding has slowed down some. Don't know about the others, I would think the Newfoundland would shed quite a bit also. If you are going with one of these, and this is just my opinion, they will not be happy closed up in a house all day long. My GSD is outside during the day, weather permitting, and in the house at nite, makes both of us happy. Enjoy whatever breed you get.
