Would it violate the Separation of Church and State if Gov't gave families money to attend Parochial school?

It patently violates teh seperation of church and state. Its somethign which is still done here in the UK and we are fighting. In some places children cannot get to decent schools without worshipping in a way directed by the school governors. Don't go the same way.
