I spent $20 yesterday so I saved or created 5 jobs. Does my claim have as much credibility as Obama's?

It takes more than $20 bucks to create a job. It takes 50k or more per year and that is the type of money the gov't was spending. If a teacher was going to get laid off the federal government came in to help the state, how is that not a job saved? In addition, people who work are going to spend their money eating, going out, buying clothes. That also creates additional jobs.
