Do guys prefer a certain race or color?

i feel like guys only care about what yew look like. if they didnt, they wouldn't be interested in yew like that right? i know that it has to do with looks but what about personality? am i the only one who cares about both? i am a light colored african american but i have french, black,indian, and german from my father and black and mexican from my mum but my color is brown and i have been called carmel and yellow brown by guys so whats up with that?!
